Louis Hart

My name is Louis H. Hart III, MD and I am the inaugural Director of Equity, Quality & Safety for NYC Health + Hospitals. My leadership work addresses the historical structural barriers that have caused inequitable inclusion practices within the organization and disparate health outcomes for the patients that the System serves. By ingraining an equity lens into our Quality & Safety infrastructure, we are creating the data and measurement systems to support and advance various health equity related goals across the health system.
