
Brian Grunau
Dr. Grunau is an Assistant Professor in the UBC Department of Emergency Medicine, the Resuscitation Innovation Lead in the BC Emergency Medicine Network, and a Scientist at the Centre for the Health Evaluation & Outcome Sciences. Dr. Grunau’s primary research interest is the management of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. He has received over $6 million in research funding and published over 85 peer-reviewed articles, including as first author in high impact journals such as JAMA. Dr. Grunau has spoken internationally on the topic of ECPR and led the development of a regional ECPR Program in Vancouver. He is the co-chair of the Canadian ECPR Research Network for OHCA.
