Nannies on Call is a certified childcare agency. Their on-call nanny service is intended for families that do not require the same nanny on a regular or semi-regular basis.
Booking appointments
All bookings must be for a minimum of 4 hours, but clients are welcome to book a nanny for as long as needed. Bookings made 36-48 hours in advance can be completed online, but short notice bookings (<36 hours) must be arranged over the phone. They generally only make appointments up to one month in advance.
Rates & Fees
The total cost of hiring an on-call nanny includes the agency booking fee + the nanny’s hourly rate. They do not offer group rates.
Agency Booking Fees
A $33 + tax booking agency fee is incurred with every single booking appointment that is made.
The booking fee is charged to a pre-authorized Visa or MasterCard at the time of the booking. Clients will receive an e-receipt for the agency booking fees.
**Booking fees and bundle plans are non-refundable once charged.** Bundle plans are available for multiple bookings. They are valid for one year from the date of purchase and are non-refundable/non-transferable.
Bundle Plans:
- For multiple bookings in the next year, clients can purchase bundles of agency booking fees (6 for $165 +tax, or 10 for $230 +tax).
- For yearly bookings, the Baroness Plan lets clients make up to 5 babysitting appointments per month for one year, for $525 + tax, covering the agency booking fee.
Nanny’s hourly rate
Nannies must be paid in cash or by cheque (CND) at the end of each appointment. The nannies will issue a paper receipt at the end of each appointment.

Cancellation Policy
Once the booking is confirmed, clients can cancel their appointment with no cancellation fee within 24 hours to the start of a booking. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice carry a cancellation fee of $73.
