Description
An expert panel made up of ED physicians from across Canada will discuss experiences and lessons-learned from the use of both lab based and in situ simulation during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will discuss the training of ED physicians, residents, and allied health staff in both urban and rural environments.
Learning Objectives
Understand the use of simulation during COVID-19 in a variety of urban and rural settings across Canada.
Explore the different applications of in situ simulation during COVID-19.
Consider how our experiences using simulation during COVID-19 can influence on-going incorporation of simulation in continuing medical education.
