Ultrasound Partners

Any Patient. Anywhere. Anytime.

SonoSite’s first mission was to create the first-ever portable ultrasound machine that could be carried into battle and used to make time-critical medical decisions under the most grueling conditions imaginable. The concept was simple: get treatment to a trauma victim within the first 60 minutes of being injured by giving a frontline clinician an ultrasound machine that could easily be brought to the patient’s side. Weighing less than 10 lbs and built for the battlefield, the  SonoSite 180 was born for the bedside.

From the beginning, SonoSite has been dedicated to empowering clinicians to continue innovating the practice of medicine for the sake of providing better patient care. With more than 100,000 SonoSite machines installed worldwide, we continue to partner with clinicians to bring the benefits of ultrasound to the point-of-care.
