Presentation slides

Description: Quality Improvement and Patient Safety are relatively new fields in emergency medicine. They aim to take the findings of traditional research and implement them (through education and other higher-yield methods) in order to achieve better patient care.

Learning Objectives:

  2. Understand the strengths of a QIPS approach to improving health outcomes.
  3. Recognize the limitations of QIPS with regards to research and medical education.
