The competition will be in a round-robin format, with eight teams competing in the preliminary round, four advancing to the semi-finals, and two teams participating in the final round. The Kingston Resuscitation Institute has generously contributed prize money for the top teams. More details available here.

Learning Objectives:

  • Enhance knowledge of Canada’s end-of-life regulatory regime
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the evolving social contract between government, patients and health professionals on end-of-life care
  • Discuss the public’s expectations of treatment of end-of-life issues in an emergency setting
